New Director of Community Partnership Programs

The Communiversity at QC is pleased to introduce Charles Flanagan, the new Director of Community Partnership Programs for Rio Salado College!

Flanagan will be responsible for operations at the Communiversity at QC, Rio Salado Southern, and the East Valley Veterans Education Center.

Meet Charles Flanagan

Prior to joining Rio Salado, Flanagan served as a senior administrator and agency director for more than three decades with the State of Arizona in the areas of criminal justice/corrections, juvenile justice, and child welfare. Flanagan has taught and administered academic and work based educational programs for the State of Arizona and Cochise Community College.

Additionally, Flanagan worked in the performing arts in Europe for more than 12 years and earned a degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

"I am looking forward to working with my Rio colleagues and our community partners in order to enhance the academic and life successes of our students, for the benefit of our shared communities," said Flanagan.

Flanagan's rich background working in government and education, extensive experience building partnerships, and passion for working with underserved and underprepared populations make him a valued addition to the Rio Salado team!
