The Maricopa Colleges Faculty Foundation has created a scholarship fund students can use as early as Spring 2016.
A few of the criteria requirements include:
● Must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
● Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at one of the Maricopa Community Colleges
● Must obtain at least two faculty signatures to submit with complete application
The application deadline to apply is October 15 and interested applicants need to visit maricopacollegesfacultyfoundation.wildapricot.org to learn all the details and how to apply.
Please note applicants will need to submit their application online, with a copy of an official or unofficial transcript, and a typed essay describing how the funds would benefit the applicant’s educational goals.
Be sure to review the additional scholarships available through the Maricopa Community College District that allow you to submit one application for multiple scholarships at mcccdf.academicworks.com.
This feature allows you to save time with the convenient one-time application and the deadline to apply is October 12.
Remember to take the time to have a colleague, mentor, teacher, or someone you trust review your applications and essays, if applicable, to search for grammar, punctuation, and/or spelling errors. Failing to thoroughly review your application packet can be the deciding factor to whether or not you receive the funding available to you.
