Take part in a free community workshop hosted by Ottawa University Nursing: A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with Healthy Feet! - How to Improve Your Diabetic Foot Care.

This workshop is designed for diabetic patients and their family members, nursing students and interested healthcare professionals.

Presented by Kathy Kump - Ottawa University Director of Nursing, RN, MSN, MHSA, CWOCN, FNP-C. Kathy Kump has been a registered nurse for over 28 years and completed her academic degrees at the University of Kansas, including Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Health Services Administration, and a Master of Science in Nursing, and she is presently enrolled in the University of Kansas Doctor of Nursing Practice program. She is a certified family nurse practitioner, as well as a certified wound, ostomy, and continence nurse. Kathy serves on the Board of Directors of the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board. She also assisted in the development and the first successful accreditation of a local hospital outpatient diabetes education department.
