MCCCDF Scholarships + You = Success!

Step 1 Navigate to: https://mcccdf.academicworks.com application.  Step 2 Click on the SIGN IN box.  Step 3 Sign in with your MEID and Password.  If you do not know or need to reset your MEID or Password visit: https://admissions.maricopa.edu/ID/Reactivate Step 4 Fill out the application and click the finish and submit button Step 5 Sign in weekly to complete follow-ups if prompted. Step 6 Award notifications will be sent to your student Gmail account. HELPFUL TIPS: • Use the Save and Keep Editing button while completing the application to save your work. • If you do not have a GPA with a Maricopa College yet, list your High School GPA. • Hundreds of scholarships, one application! Applications are applied to scholarships based on student answers.  ESSAY WRITING TIPS: • Be positive- Be truthful- Be descriptive. • Reflect on your life goals and career aspirations. • Share your unique story. • Use Word to check for spelling errors. • Have a friend or family member proofread your paragraph for grammatical errors. • Take advantage of your College writing center. Look for exclusive opportunities for Rio Waves like the James P. Hornburg Memorial Scholarship for students majoring in Law Enforcement and Corrections and the Dr. Linda M. Thor Scholarship, which is geared toward helping single moms. Veterans, there are also exclusive scholarships for you.

Do the Math! The streamlined process, which only requires one general application, will make it well worth your time! Don't discount those small scholarships. The few hours you spend on a scholarship application will be a good investment. At the very least, you'll gain valuable practice in mastering the application process.
